Charles Pinnix	President	Year: Sophomore Hometown: Elkridge, Maryland Major: Biology and Art Studio Double Major Why Phi Tau: I joined Phi Kappa Tau the first semester of my freshman year. I remember being impressed by the character that all the brothers portrayed. I quickly realized it was the right decision to make.
Matt Cassano	Vice President	Year: Senior Hometown: Thornwood, New York Major: History Goals after College: Would like to work as a Paralegal in New York and then eventually go onto law school. Why Phi Tau: Joined Phi Tau because I had just transferred to Maryland and it was a good way to make friends and meet new people.
Sam Sjoberg	Treasurer	Year: Sophomore Hometown: Hawthorn, New York Major: Finance Goals after College: Hopefully work somewhere in the financial sector to gain experience and one day start my own business. Why Phi Tau: I choose Phi Tau because of the opportunity to revive a dying chapter and to be apart of something bigger than myself. Also the possibilities of having an early leadership position lured me to join this chapter.

Tabler	Secretary	Year: Sophomore Hometown: Elkridge, Maryland Major: Government and Politics, Arabic Minor Goals after College: My goals after college are to join the Peace Corps, go to graduate school, do diplomatic work in the Middle East and eventually become a politician. Why Phi Tau: I chose Phi Tau because I'm the kind of guy who enjoys going out and socializing some nights, but staying in and hanging out with the boys on others. You'll find both types of people here and everything in between. The commonality is that everyone shares a sense of brotherhood and loyalty to one another.
Nick Carpenito	Vice President of Recruitment	Year: Sophomore Hometown: Valhalla, Westchester, New York Major: Communications Goals after College: Currently my goals are to work on all the prerequisites that are needed to get into the business school. I plan on trying to pick up a second major in either marketing or international business to go along with my communication degree. I plan on doing some sort of internship within the next couple of years, preferably somewhere that will give me experience in a future career related to my major(s). I am not very clear on what type of career I want to pursue after my time at the University of Maryland is finished but I’m confident things will fall into place over the next couple of years. I am sure that I want to do something that I enjoy doing for a living rather than settling for something average which may provide more financial stability. Why Phi Tau: When I came to the University of Maryland, joining a fraternity never crossed my mind. I felt that it wasn’t for me based on the stereotypes and clichés that is constantly portrayed about Greek life. However, at the beginning of my second semester a very unique situation was presented to me. I, along with about twenty of my best friends, were given the opportunity to make up the majority of this fraternity due to many of the older members graduating. We were given the opportunity to build a fraternity from the ground up and do it without using the stereotypical style of the common fraternity. Though the process we formed new bonds with other men in the fraternity while also strengthening the bonds that we already shared. We saw what we were doing as something very special that we could be a part of and a great way to leave our mark here at the University of Maryland.

I chose this one because we do work
Sebastian Rodriguez	Chaplain	Year: Sophomore Hometown: Montevideo, Uruguay Major: Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics Goals after College: Medical School Why Phi Tau: Phi Tau was a place were I could find true brotherhood and were I could relate to everyone there. It was also a great opportunity to bring new life to an already great fraternity.

Why Phi Tau: The reason I joined Phi Tau was that I saw the potential to aquire early leadership positions. I found that it would be great to learn how to run an organization. The brothers were also very nice and seemed like they were going places. Phi Tau at the time seemed like the best place to better myself.
